CTC Aviation is an organisation who offers a ‘vertically-integrated’ portfolio of airline pilot training and resourcing solutions ranging from pilot selection services, training for the aspiring airline pilot, through to advanced training courses for experienced airline pilots and airline managers.
Securing this project for CTC Aviation was a great achievement and our team were excited to be involved. We were employed to construct the aeroplane simulator bases which incorporated the following works:
- Reinforced concrete bases and walls
- GRP covers 3m.
Site specific issue
Working in such a bespoke and unique environment meant we needed to carefully plan and programme our works. All works were completed out of hours, overnight and at weekends due to intense use of simulators. Noise was also a key issue and had to be kept to a minimum at all times.
